Five new LEGO Pokémon sets just dropped, and the lineup is genuinely impressive. Announced on July 7, 2026, the wave covers everything from a Legendary Pokémon recreation to a supersized trainer figure, with a few sets that are going to be very hard to scroll past.
Three of the five sets go on sale August 1, 2026, while the remaining two land October 1, 2026. Pre-orders are open now on LEGO.com.

What Stands Out
Rayquaza is the obvious headline grab, and the Sky Pillar diorama concept with a Zinnia minifigure is a smart way to give display builders something with actual context rather than just a posed figure on a stand. At $129.99 for 1,083 pieces, it's not a bad deal either.
The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball at 2,339 pieces and $299.99 is the big-ticket item here, and it's clearly gunning for a spot on the shelf alongside your other large display sets. Three trainer minifigures, two Pokémon figures, and an openable Poké Ball with interior dioramas is a lot of set for your money, even at that price point.
The Up-Scaled Red Minifigure is a neat concept that LEGO has dabbled with before in other themes. At 930 pieces and $79.99, the age range dropping to 10+ suggests this one is meant to have broader appeal beyond the dedicated adult display crowd.
If you're building out a Pokémon display shelf, the August wave of Munchlax, Arcanine, and Rayquaza gives you a solid mix of scales and price points to work with. The October drops are where things get more ambitious, and both are worth putting on your calendar now.
